All Ricoh's website has is a ppd fileĪ day after my post, I spend two hours in two day troubleshooting the Ricoh MP C2500 Scanner setup configuration by email client and also I tested a shared folder that I setup in one specific user but that didn't work out either. all I can say is check Ricoh's website for Lion stuff. Oh, apparently, something got changed in 's SFTP rather than FTP. Path name (eg, Users/RICOH, port number (use 21-> Auth info->"Next"-specify other Auth Info-> Change->punch in OS X user name and password (apple/prefs/accounts/username and password-> open "Folder" tab, click on connection test and confirm normal operations, then OK, exit, set originals on Ricoh, press scanner key on device, open "Folder" tab and specify user folder. This is according to Ricoh's website: it mentions 10.5, but not 10.8Īpple menu-> system preferences-> sharing-> click on File sharing box to activate it, then options, then share files and folders via ftp, then "Done"Īt the device: User Tools/Counter->System Settings->Admin Tools->address book managment->choose user/group->on Folder tab choose FTP->"Would you like to switch"-> choose "Yes", then server name (choose IP of Mac computer on network)-> I think you have to set up some users and their folders.
